The Arthur C. Barraclough Company Community Service Award recognizes companies for their volunteer effort for charities and the community. The winner will receive a crystal award that can be prominently displayed in their lobby, and BSCAI will make a cash donation to a charity of the winner's choice.
Please review the below guidelines and eligibility requirements before submitting an entry:
1. Competition is open to all Professional, Affiliate, and Franchisor members.
2. Submissions must meet all or a majority of the following criteria:
a. Service to volunteer organizations
b. Donation of time or materials to community event
c. Active leadership support of a non-profit charity
d. High-level support of a public policy
e. Executive promotion in the business community of the value of BSCAI specifically, and contract cleaning in general.
3. Nominations should be based upon activity during the 2017 calendar year.
4. This award may be self-nominated.
5. Examples of the types of community service include such things as contractors who take their team to do a town cleanup, a contracting company who maintains a scholarship fund, etc.
Selection of this company award will be made by an unbiased panel of nonprofit association executives on the basis of the above criteria. The decision of the judges is final.
